hello, my name is slaine! i'm a queer self-taught artist & writer from midwestern usa. i primarily specialize in character design & illustration, and have worked with many independent authors to help bring their characters to life! my current goals are to start an art youtube channel, develop my professional portfolio, and eventually stream on twitch!when i'm not making art, you can usually find me playing ttrpgs with my friends, watching movies, or spending quality time with my husband. i love horror media & alternative music, both of which have a major influence on my work as a creative.if you have any questions or are looking to work with me, the best place to reach out is through instagram dms or the email listed below. i'm available for both commercial & personal commission work.
FULL TERMS OF SERVICE:
- I retain the right to deny a commission for any reason.
- You must be 18+ to commission me.
- Payment is in USD through Paypal, Venmo, or Cashapp. Ko-Fi is fine as well.
- Payment is required upfront and in full- but i am open to half upfront/half later if asked.
- Artwork is for personal use only! However, if you are interested in commercial work (merch, book covers, etc), let me know, I would be happy to work with you!
- Credit me if you use my artwork as an icon, banner, etc. and don’t remove my watermark!
- Do not use my artwork for generative AI.
- Visual reference is preferred, but not required.
- Commission turnaround time is usually between 1-3 weeks depending on workload and other circumstances.
- No changes to the composition will be made after the final approved sketch, only minor adjustments before colors.
- Background prices can be negotiated based on scene complexity.
